Europa-Park

Europe's largest theme park, 45 minutes by car from Illkirch — or about an hour by shuttle from Strasbourg bus station.

An unforgettable adventure

Discover Europa-Park

Located in Rust, Germany, Europa-Park is one of the most renowned theme parks in the world. With more than 100 attractions and shows, it offers an unrivalled experience for visitors of all ages.

A journey across Europe

Europa-Park is one of a kind, with its 17 European themed areas. Each area faithfully reflects the architecture, culture and cuisine of a different European country: enjoy a pizza in Italy, explore medieval German castles or take in Irish folk music, all without leaving the park.

Thrill rides

For thrill-seekers, the park is home to 14 roller coasters. Among the most popular: Silver Star, one of the tallest and fastest in Europe, and the Blue Fire Megacoaster, combining blistering acceleration with impressive loops.

Fun for the whole family

Europa-Park also offers a host of family attractions: from gentle rides such as Arthur – The Ride (inspired by “Arthur and the Invisibles”) to live shows. Younger visitors will love themed areas like Lilandia and Grimm's Enchanted Forest, where fairy tales come to life.

Rulantica: a water adventure

Next to Europa-Park is Rulantica, an indoor water park: thrilling slides, wave pools and lazy rivers, to cool off and have fun whatever the weather.

Accommodation and dining

To extend the experience, Europa-Park offers several themed hotels — from a Spanish castle to a Scandinavian village — and more than 50 restaurants and bars serving cuisines from around the world.

Special events and themed seasons

The park is also known for its themed seasons: Halloween, Christmas and Oktoberfest transform the park to offer unique experiences, with decorations, shows and special attractions.
