About the hotel
Although on the outskirts of the town centre and located in the adjacent town of Ostwald, this Mercure hotel remains a very good choice for its proximity to Illkirch and Strasbourg. It also has a free, secure private car park. It is reachable by car via the A35 motorway, exit no. 6 LA VIGIE, or by Bus 62, whose stop is less than 5 minutes on foot. Bus 62 notably serves the Tram A terminus in central Illkirch, letting you make easy use of public transport. If needed, without the bus, central Illkirch is only a 15-minute walk from the Mercure hotel.
Our access tip
To get to Strasbourg, we recommend using your vehicle to reach the huge free Baggersee car park, via the A35 motorway, exit no. 5 BAGGERSEE. Then take Tram A (preferably) or Tram E to reach central Strasbourg. On foot, simply head to central Illkirch to catch Tram A at the Cours de l'Illiade stop. As a reminder, Strasbourg is very much a pedestrian and cycling city.
